Type 2 Diabetes – The Best Time to Eat Carbohydrates

Sometimes it may seem like there is too much fuss about carbohydrates. Rarely, if ever, are they neglected in a diet or nutrition conversation? But is their importance overstated? And just how accurate is the information spread about carbohydrates? These are profound questions beyond the scope of this discussion. That said, we will touch on these topics indirectly as we talk about timing and consumption of carbohydrates.

Type 2 diabetics are aware their carbohydrate intake has an effect on their body’s blood sugar. Which leads us to our first point: carbohydrates need not be totally avoided, because they are not altogether harmful. It is only under certain circumstances the situation gets out of hand leading to a continual rise in blood sugar and in turn pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes. Being…

  • physically inactive,
  • eating an unhealthy diet containing too many sugary foods, and
  • lacking in control of portion sizes,

are some of the culprits.

Timing and the consumption of carbs are essential to healthy living. By choosing to eat your carbs at the wrong time, you leave yourself vulnerable to elevated blood sugar and weight gain, which act as catalysts in the development of Type 2 diabetes.

In short, you should aim to consume most of your carbohydrates around the time you engage in physical activity. Eating carbs before exercise will give you a boost in energy, which is useful if you are going to have a moderate to an intense workout. A fruit like an apple or banana is an excellent choice.

More importantly, the carbs you consume after exercise will be used to replenish the carbohydrates your body spent for energy. Provided you do not over consume, eating carbohydrates after exercising is beneficial to the body. A blood sugar spike following a workout is not harmful because nutrient partitioning is necessary at this time.

Furthermore, it is unlikely you will eat all of your daily carbohydrates before or after exercise: this is why it is important to eat healthy sources throughout the rest of the day. Complex carbs such as…

  • whole grains,
  • oats,
  • fruits, and
  • vegetables

do not have adverse effects on blood sugar. Not to mention they contain vitamins and minerals as well.

Carbohydrates are essential. And the importance of their timing and consumption should not be understated.

You will be doing yourself many favors health wise if you structure most of your carbohydrate intake around your exercise routines. Whether it is a walk, a jog, or a resistance training routine is irrelevant. After all, by this point in time, you already know you have no choice but to exercise in some way if you expect to be healthy.

Medicare Therapy Coverage For Lymphedema

Getting Medicare to recognize lymphedema therapy as essential medical expenditure has been a difficult task. Lymphedema patients have been long trying to get the benefit of Medicare for the expenses that they incur for the therapy that continues throughout their life. The Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act states that complications arising due to breast cancer surgery, which includes lymphedema, must be covered by all insurance providers. However, this coverage does not extend to those who suffer from primary or secondary lymphedema. In February 2008, the compression garments considered an essential part of lymphedema therapy were classified as covered items for Medicare.

Lymphedema is a condition that has no medical cure, although it can be managed with therapy which is known as the Complete Decongestive Therapy or CDT. The process involves a lymphatic massage combined with the use of compression bandages and compression garments, a skin care routine and a regular exercise regimen. The most important aspect of the therapy is the manual lymph drainage (MLD) which aims at draining the stagnated lymph to reduce the swelling. Occasionally, the therapist might use the Sequential Gradient Pump to loosen fibrotic tissues before the massage. The therapist performing the lymphatic massage is a specialized professional trained in the technique. Therapy sessions in the early stages may be held frequently, at least five days a week. Those who do not have easy access to the lymphedema therapist may use a sequential gradient pump for the lymphatic drainage process.

Medicare covers the lymphedema pump therapy, but recently the coverage rules have been modified. Previously, although the pneumatic compression devices were included in coverage, the patient had to attempt all other methods of treatment first, a process that took many months. This has changed now. Compression devices have been included under durable medical expenses for both primary and secondary lymphedema. There is a four-week trial period which the doctor must observe. A course of medication, use of compression garments and elevation of the limb is followed by the patient and if no improvement is seen, the doctor prescribes a pneumatic pump. The doctor is required to give a Certificate of Medical Necessity to enable the patient to procure a lymphedema pump from a Medicare authorized supplier. The supplier of the pump must be enrolled with Medicare and possess the Medicare Supplier Number, or you will not be reimbursed the claim.

In case of compression garments, which can be a large recurring expense, lymphedema sufferers have had to deal with legislatures which prevented their inclusion in Medicare coverage lists. A positive judgment in February 2008 has come to the aid of lymphedema patients. Compression garments were classified as items meeting the standards for covered items. Items like compression bandages, compression sleeves and stockings were considered medically essential and would be covered as prosthetic devices under Medicare for lymphedema therapy. The lymphedema patients can take advantage of this edict and claim a compensation for these medically essential items that help them to manage the lymphedema.

Is Your Heart Committed? Is His?

Women, in particular, are looking for commitment. Hollywood, the media, and dating websites all focus on getting a marriage proposal. The art of seduction pre-dates expert Cleopatra. Dozens of books have been written about getting an unavailable man to say, "I do." For six years, Carrie Bradshaw of "Sex in the City" tried to get Mr. Big to commit.

But is there a commitment of the heart? It's one thing to get married, it's another to have a deep emotional connection. Both men and women often create obstacles to getting the love they want. They may avoid inconvenience with time spent at work, watching television, engaging in hobbies or sports. Addiction by either spouse blocks intimacy. Women complain their husbands spend too much time on the computer or watching sports. Yet, women may spend time cleaning, volunteering, or criticizing their husbands or boyfriends or be over-emotionally involved with their children. To be clear, I'm not talking about the demands of raising young children or the necessity of working two jobs to pay the bills. Stress makes intimate harder, but does not need to eliminate it, unless it's an excuse.

Fear of discomfort may show up in the bedroom. One man complained about his wife's coldness. He had an affair, only to discover that he was now impotent with his new lover. As walls build, the lack of communication usually will ever affect sexual intrusion.

Not infrequently, one spouse is unconsciously married to someone else. In one marriage, the husband's heart was still committed to his late wife. It was as if her ghost slept between them. In another, the husband cheated, but it was not the lovers who had stolen his heart – it was his mother! In another case, the husband was unfaithful, but the real cause of their financial problems lay in the wife's emotional marriage to her older brother, who died when she was a child. It sometimes happens with twins who are so close that no one else can share that intimate. It also can be a problem in step-families. One single mom found fault with every boyfriend, but she was not ready for romance. She did not realize her overly-involvement with her son was the problem. Similarly, in a marriage one parent may avoid intimacy by using a child of the opposite sex as an emotional surrogate. In these cases the unavailable partner is unconscious of their contribution to the very maritime problem about which they complain and think it's their mate's fault. Frequently, they must grieve and let go before they can open to their spouse.

People rarely believe that getting the love that they seek might be a problem. Connie finally overcame her pattern of loving abusers, and found Mark, a kind and gentle man. Being loved proved to be more terrifying to Connie than the familiar abuse. Her entire life and personality had been built around the belief that she was unlovable. She was sure that Mark would leave when he discovered the "truth" about her that she imagined was bad. Mark had his own self-esteem issues, and before Connie, he had always dated overweight women, in whom he ever lost sexual interest. He worried Connie would leave. Sharing their fears, not only helped them to heal their wounds, but moved them closer to a commitment of the heart.

What makes intimate so difficult? It requires vulnerability – risking openness. Everyone's been hurt before, and I mean everyone. From childhood onwards, people get hurt even by well-intentioned parents, by friends, teachers, and lovers, and by losses due to death, illness, rejection, and divorce. Animals, including humans, are programmed to avoid pain. It's hard-wired into your brain in order to survive. It requires awareness, intention, and courage to feel everything that may arise once the heart is open. If it's been wounded before, no one wants to re-open an old wound. Opening your heart to love will open those wounds. But it's also an an opportunity to heal, rather than seal them it over.

Minecraft: How to Build a Windmill

How to make a windmill in Minecraft:

Step 1: Find some flat land of suitable size, somewhere surrounded by grass helps the mill look more realistic when its finished. Although feel free to ignore this step and build your mill in a volcano.

Step 2: Start the base of the windmill by building a 10×10 square.

Step 3: Make this first shape 5 blocks tall.

Step 4: Seal off this first section with a roof.

Step 5: Decide which side of this box will be the front and build a door there.

Step 6: Remove the grass inside the first section and replace it with a suitable material for a floor. Wood will do but you can also experiment with different coloured wool.

Step 7: Make a set of stairs breaking out of the ground floor section.

Step 8: Build up another two blocks all around your structure.

Step 9: Build a new box shape on top of what you already have with dimensions 8x8x5 (WxLxH).

Step 10: On top of this build a third box of dimensions 6x6x5.

Step 11: Finally build a forth box on top with dimensions 4x4x5.

Step 12: Carefully take out the corners of all the box shapes you’ve made so far.

Step 13: Replace these blocks with a darker material, unprocessed wood is suitable. This gives the windmill a nice detail and stops it looking like one big bland box.

Step 14: Position a few blocks coming out of the top of the mill, These are what the blades will be attached to

Step 15: Using a coloured wool build 4 symmetrical blades. Make them at least 10 blocks long

Step 16: Take out the middle section of your wool blades.

Step 17: Replace these removed parts with a fence post. This gives the blades a more solid feel and helps make it look more authentic from a distance

Step 18: Head back inside and build a balcony attached to the 2nd box shape we built earlier. Decorate this with items such as a picnic table and BBQ.

Step 19: Add a series of ladders leading up to the top of your mill.

Step 20: If you want you can add torches around the place to help keep it free from zombies at night or just so it looks nicer.

Step 21: Create a window from the 2nd box we build earlier looking out onto the balcony.

Step 22: If you haven’t already done so you can build some support columns form the balcony, These don’t do anything apart from make the mill look more realistic.

Step 23: Head back inside and build the mechanism for milling wheat. The main components you need to create for this are a long shaft leading from the top where the blades are down to the bottom where you should put two flat surfaces to grind the wheat between. Unfortunately Minecraft doesn’t have the ability to make large mechanical contraptions like this actually work so you’ll need to use your imagination a bit here.

Step 24: As a finishing touch you can build a quaint garden next to your mill. If you’re feeling up to it you could also start a giant wheat farm next door.

10 Great Activities For Autistic Children

Sometimes trying to come up with activities for autistic kids that will be fun, educational and not cost a lot can be a struggle. So it's reassuring to know that there are a number of possibilities out there, it's just a matter of finding some that will appeal to your child's personal tastes. The following are examples of popular activities for autistic children between the ages of 7 and 11.

Indoor Activities:

– Singing – autistic children gain a number of benefits from singing. Children who are non-verbal can hum, make sounds, or play musical instruments such as whistles, tambourines, drums, kazoos, or small keyboards. Repeating sounds, making up new tunes, or even learning educational lyrics can be very useful for helping kids to learn and may also provide them some much-needed sensory stimulation – the same they would get from yelling, only more pleasing to the parental ear! Mimicking one another's notes and tunes can be an important social experience that encourages interaction. Experiment with different sounds and different types of music to find the ones your child enjoys and responds best to.

– Funny Sounds – making and mimicking funny sounds can be a laugh-filled social learning experience for autistic kids and their parents. Children enjoy the sensory outlet and repetition element of this game. You can try writing down a number of different animals or items on different pieces of paper and whichever you choose you have to make the appropriate noise.

– Castles – building castles out of just about anything can be a great deal of fun. The type of building "blocks" depends on the motor skills of the child. It can range from plastic or wooden alphabet blocks to large "Lego" or "Duplo" style blocks, or even playing cards if they're manually dexterous.

– Safe Emergencies – these games are educational based but can also be fun to. They involve enacting the right procedures for what to do in an emergency event. This includes what to do in case of fire and other urgent situations. The important part of these games is to build a calm routine around them.

– Simple Board Games – Begin with simple or basic board games and increase the difficulty level as your child gets older and learns how to work with the rules of the games. Many board games are enjoyable activities for autistic kids because they are reliably predictable and provide a routine. They also encourage turn taking, but make sure losing is never a big deal, it's just an income. Otherwise they may associate negative emotions with the game and refuse to play.

Outdoor Activities:

– Simple Childhood Games – think back to your childhood and the games you used to play. For many children there's no reason why they can not take part in basic childhood games. As long as they are not too socially complex, many autistic children can have a lot of fun playing games such as tag or follow the leader. Keep in mind that the best activities for autistic children do not require them to keep close or extended physical contact with other people. You may want to make sure that you stick to games that focus on your child's unique skills to add comfort and confidence to the playing.

– Organized Sports – many children enjoy taking part in organized sports like any other children their age. Aim for sports that allow them to take part without too much sensory stimulation and that does not require lots of equipment. Golf and baseball are good activities for autistic kids, whereas sports such as tackle football may not suit.

– Water Balloons – autistic children can often benefit from various sensory stimulators and water balloons can fit the bill. Tossing them about, or holding and squishing them can be lots of fun. This also encourages children to play with others when it comes to games such as "hot potato" – tossing the water filled balloon to one another pretending it's a hot potato.

– Skipping Rocks – if you are sufficient enough to live near water and your child is responsible around water, skipping rocks can be a great way to have fun and use arm muscles, encouraging the development of motor skills. If you have a swimming pool that is large enough, you can try skipping plastic floating disks instead.

– I Spy – whether trying to pass the time in the car or sitting in the yard, this game is a great way to learn colors socially interact with others.

These activities for autistic children are a great way to have fun, learn important lessons, and develop basic social skills without spending the earth.

Making A Mark On Your Customers

Running a business online is similar to running a real store. The key is to get customers to buy what you are selling. However there are many differences in the strategies that you can use with an online store and the ones that you would ordinarily use in a regular store on the street. Here we look at how your website and CRM can affect your chances of success.

The Competition is Fierce

The number of sites trying to sell products and services on the internet are beyond computation. In each niche you have hundreds if not thousands of people competing with you. Selling exactly what you are selling and maybe at a lower price as well. So in the face of such fierce competition how do you make your mark on the internet? You need to find that unique point that is special to just your organization and then market it ruthlessly to your customers and potential clients. One thing that can help is the way you go about designing your website and your customer relationship management.

Out of Sight is Out of Mind

The kind of marketing you undertake also affects the business. There are a number of websites offering the same product as you but what is the true competition that you face? If you are a localized service such as a real estate agent in a particular state or city, you need not bother about websites of real estate agents in other states. Your web promotion strategies will include getting the word out about your products and services in local groups online and offline. Of course while putting advertisements in the newspaper and the local cable channels is a good idea, you should ideally tap the potential of the online marketing gimmicks.

Discounts and Perks can push up Sales

Most webstore designers will ask you to ensure one section of the website deals with the discounts and other perks that you offer your online customers. If you make offers for buying online which gives the customers a better deal than going into a store and picking up the same things you will naturally push up the sales of your own products and services. If you do make a sale to a customer make sure that you follow up with ongoing emails to offer the latest discounts that the site is giving away. Some of them will come back and buy from you if they were happy with the first experience and your web contact management.

Be Easily Accessible to your Online Clientele

Just how easy is it to contact the website owner from your portal. Make sure that you give out the relevant contact details on the website. That's just half the story now you must be available to respond to the questions and questions that come in from the source. Keeping your customers in constant communication with the company can have a number of benefits. These will include spot sales, impulse buys and word of mouth publicity about the deals that you are offering. So make a mark with your ecommerce company on the internet and reap the benefits.

How to Buy a Custom Shirt Online

An essential to the well-dressed professional or the well-put together man playing a round of golf is a well-fitted shirt. While the professional gifts a lot of time creating a businesslike and trustworthy appearance, a poorly fitted shirt can ruin the entire effect. On the other hand a person who feels that fashion and good looks do not have to stop at the office, then a custom shirt can even give a casual outfit a sense of style and the man an effortlessly well dressed appearance.

Most men spend a lot of time and money on assuring their business suits and dress pants are fitted exactly to the corporate or business climate and the exacting standards a professional must meet in terms of appearance. However, formerly there were only two options to buying a shirt to fit with their suit or dress slacks and that was tailor fitted and made, or off the rack shirts. While tailor made and fitted shirts were usually above standard in terms of quality of fit they were also very expensive. Off the rack, shirts were more affordable but usually poorly fitting and mass-produced.

The New Alternative – How to Buy A Custom Shirt Online

A good online store, which features mens shirts, will make it as easy as possible for even the busiest of individuals to buy a custom shirt online and to this end, online ordering tools simplify matters.

The first screen should present the man with a choice of fabric types with cotton being the best quality and most comfortable choice for most men. Patterns and colors may also be chosen at this time. Once the fabric has been settled on, the online tool will then lead the purchaser to yet another screen where it is time to choose a style for the custom shirt they are designing.

A custom shirt is exclusively made to the individual's styling and size and the first step is to choose a type of collar and cuff for the custom shirt. Whether it is a wide cutaway collar or a set, of French cuffs, the person chooses each detail of the shirt and onscreen photo examples are available to help a man choose the right style for their purpose.

Next, the screen will show the buyer how to pick their measurements and there should be three ways to exactly fit the shirt to the man. The first is to send in a well fitting shirt to the company and have a new shirt made to those measurements. This is great for those who do not trust their own measuring. Alternatively, a man or woman can measure each part of their body, or of a well-fitted shirt and input the information into the form to create their custom shirt. The various ways are provided to ensure that it is as easy as possible for the busy person to achieve the results they desire with the least expense and annoyance.

The last step is to choose a fitting style either loose fit, regular fit or slim fit which reflects to the overall fit of the shirt not just one part of it.

Buying a custom shirt online is as simple and annoyance free as following the steps on the screen and inputting some very simple measurements.

Dash Kit Installation

One nice way to improve the insight of your car is to supply it with wood dash kit. There is no need to buy an expensive vehicle to get benefits from the addition of dashboard trim to your original factory dash kit. Today car owners are always seeking for variants to restyle their cars and SUVs. Mounting the dash kit to your ride is very easy. Spending low efforts and time, you will greatly raise up the value of your car. Following the installation step-by-step instruction below will help you to commit an easy and quick mounting of the newly bought dash trim kit on your automobile.

Right now I’m going to take you step by step through the installation of your trim kit. I would suggest that you first read this article through to the end before you begin the installation. Then you can restart reading, pausing when you work on each step. At the first step of the process make sure that you have correct part numbers for your particular application. Kits may be different for automatic and manual transmission, 4-wheel driving and so on. So you need to check that before beginning. The schematic will be supplied with you kit which will help you to identify all the individual parts. And it is a good idea to keep this schematic with your warranty card for future reference if you ever need a replace a damaged part. The items included for the installation are:

– 3M Prep-Sol 70 wax and grease remover;

– Adhesion promoter;

– alcohol napkin;

– paper towels;

– a pair of latex gloves.

In addition you will need a heat gun or a hair drier, standard screwdriver and a scratch resistant fabric. Before starting any work use a plastic cover to protect the surfaces of the vehicle from damage. Then separate trim parts from the packing material. The actual installation begins with by test fitting each trim piece to its proper location. This allows you to check the fit of each piece as well as to familiarize yourself with its mounting location. At this time you will want to know the easiest way to properly align each part.

Check for the most obvious straight lines such as switches, vent or radio cuts out for a correct positioning. Because the wood trim is flat you will need to note areas which will require special attention if the need a bending to match sharp curves. Remember you’re installing real wood and you want to make sure it’s flexible enough before test fitting to an area. Therefore we recommend that if the temperature is below 80 degrees Fahrenheit you should use a heat gun or hair drier or the vehicle’s heating system to raise temperature to between 80 and 100 degrees on the trim components. Use a low heat setting of the heat gun or hair drier and continuously moving with a back and forth motions to prevent an overheating and damaging the surfaces. The heat gun or hair drier should be 6-7 inches from the surface of the wood. However, if you are using a home type hair drier, you will need to head wood trim longer to reach the desired flexibility. It is very important to properly clean all the factory surfaces, to which the trim parts would be applied. DO NOT use the sharp fabrics for cleaning this factory surfaces or panels. Instead use soft towels and the special wipes provided. Do NOT reuse towels on the cleaning steps as they become contaminated. Apply 3M Prep-Sol 70 to a fresh towel to clean the factory surfaces. Then wipe the surfaces dry with a clean towel.

DO NOT spray or pour the cleaner directly on the factory surfaces. If the vehicle’s surfaces were protected by special covers, you will need to repeat the cleaning process for 5 times. An easy test to check your cleaning process is to stick a piece of masking tape to a clean surface. If the tape does not properly stick, repeat the cleaning steps. When the interior surfaces are properly cleaned with 3M Prep-Sol 70, use the alcohol napkins to thoroughly wipe down the surfaces then allow them to air dry. Now you will again fit each trim piece paying close attention to the operational switches, vents, ash trays, cup holders and so on. When each individual part is properly positioned, trace around the outside edge with the pencil. This will mark the area to be treated with adhesion promoter. Carefully apply the adhesion promoter to the areas in the trace line. If any promoter was accidentally applied to the areas not to be covered with new trim parts, you must immediately wipe it off before it dries. Use a clean towel wet with alcohol and carefully wipe the area. DO NOT apply extra pressure as it could remove color from the factory panel. When the promoter has dried for 3-4 minutes you are ready to begin the application of the trim parts. Carefully remove the protecting backing tape from the trim pieces. Then heat both sides of the wood trim and the factory surface to which the trim will be applied. On larger parts you will need to pull off the section of the backing, position the piece, and then remove the rest of the backing as you laid the piece to its place.

Be careful not to touch the adhesive backing of the panels. When you are heating the trim components and the factory surfaces between 80 and 100 degrees, remember to use a low heat setting and keep the heat gun or hair drier moving at all time. It is VERY important to align each part before application because once installed, removing the particular part may damage it or the surface it was adhered to. Carefully hold the trim piece at a slight angle to the surface it will be mounted on. Starting with one edge properly align the piece to its position as you lay it down. Check the proper operation of the switches, vents and other moving parts. Press the trim firmly at the place, using your finger tips. Pay the particular attention for the parameter of each piece. Then press the whole part firmly with a clean towel to ensure proper adhesion. With all the new trim parts in place you now need to recheck the operation of all moving parts of the interior. Check them up and down and side to side movements of all vents. Check the proper operation of the window and door lock switches and all other moving parts. Then remove finger tips and smudges from the panels with a dry and scratch resistant fabric. The installation is now complete. Place the warranty card in a glow box and impress everybody with your newly upgraded vehicle.

All About Microsoft Access 2013 and Access 365

Microsoft Access 2013 is the software that has progressed over the ages from Access 1.1 in 1992 until now.

Office Professional 2013 Software (which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) will allow you to install and run Access 2013 as usual.

The Office 365 version is paid by monthly subscription and provides Web services to Office 2013. It includes the Office Professional 2013 software as well as Access 365 and Access 2013.

Access 365, besides the name “Access”, has little to nothing in common with Access 2013 or previous versions of Access.

What is Access 365 all about?

Access 365 is a tool for creating web apps that run within SharePoint 2013. The old .ACCDB format has been abandoned. New applications should use the Access 365 model, or stick with Access 2010.

Access 365 allows the rapid creation of small applications using the standard web technologies of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript in a simplified web development environment. One big feature is that Access Services can now store data to Microsoft SQL Server or an SQL Azure database.

The use of SQL Server overcomes the 2 Gigabyte size limitation of the previous Access databases. SQL Server also provides all the security and features essential for any strategic company business system.

And What about Access 2013?

The Access 2013 desktop version is much unchanged from previous versions – it still supports the Front-End and Back-End database model and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

But Access 2013 no longer supports:

  • The Microsoft Access project (ADP)
  • The Access 97.mdb database format
  • PivotCharts and PivotTables
  • The dBASE database
  • Smart Tags (Action Tags)
  • Access 2003 Toolbars and menus
  • The Microsoft SQL Server database Upsizing Wizard
  • The Developer Source Code Control

Apps for Office

There is a new feature of Access 365 – Apps for Office. This technology enables Office to be used as a service on the Cloud or Web. The webpage can be hosted in an Office application – that is Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint or Project.

An app is usually published to the Office Store for use.

JavaScript API for Office

Access 365 has a new JavaScript API that provides programmatic access to Microsoft Office documents. The API includes application-specific data types, objects, functions and events.

The JavaScript API is a great improvement on the crude JavaScript design capabilities within HTML.

SharePoint apps

Access 365 provides a simple way for SharePoint to host the Front-End of an app and have the data management capabilities of SQL Server on the Web. This simplifies web development.

Note that Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code is not compatible with SharePoint Access applications.

Access 365 Macro Editor

Templates can be used to create sophisticated looking apps – and without the need for code. However business rules and data manipulation can be implemented with a new macro language. The macros do not have the power of VBA, but are adequate for simple logic.

Microsoft’s Strategic Direction

Microsoft Access was never meant for corporate company databases. Many companies evolved the Access database software into their core administration systems. But with the limitations of network traffic, peak loads, reliability, rollback recovery, security, etc, etc – these systems eventually hit a brick wall.

The direction that Access 365 is now taking reverts to the original intention of Microsoft Access. That is, providing a rapid development environment for small Line of Business (LOB) applications.

Microsoft Access with VBA is at the end of the road. For mission critical administration systems, the best development platform is Visual Basic.Net with SQL Server.
